Montserrat A
calcio, tienen mucho fosforo.
2.- Alga Kombu: Posee abundantes vitaminas y minerales (ver post algas

IDEAS TO PREVENT OSTEOPOROSIS
All, sooner or later, we come to the day when we must watch more than
ever for the health of our bones as the passage of time takes us and we must
look for formulas to fight against that lost bone.
Unfortunately, food and sedentary lifestyle favor the loss of bone mass
so we must look for the formula that helps us strengthen our muscles and that
our bones do not suffer. For this, conscious eating and exercise of strength is
necessary.
There are foods that can help us and I will quote them below and not
all sports are worth since they must be "impact" on the heel like
walking, running ... exercises where the feet are touching a base with
strength.
Our bones are a living tissue that constantly absorbs or releases
calcium, as needed by the body. Osteoporosis arises when the body is not able
to produce enough bone or reabsorbed too much, and this greatly influences
feeding.
However, they are not the only tips to keep in mind, you also need to
sunbathe for 15 or 20 minutes a day to be able to create vitamin D that will
help us fix the calcium we absorb from food. But yes, let's try not to be in
the hot sun hours.
Our bones are made up of calcium, proteins "among them
collagen," water and other minerals such as magnesium and phosphorus.
The basic vitamins are K2 and D which both help fix calcium in the
bone.
What can hurt us? Excess sugar and protein, refined, coffee, alcohol
and salt can cause bone loss.
With the dairy we have a small inconvenience and is that apart from
calcium, they have a lot of phosphorus. This is indispensable, but in excess
competes with calcium and prevents it from being properly fixed to the bones.
But there is another source of calcium and is the one that provides the
vegetable diet that is suitable for osteoporosis. There are plant sources of
calcium that are assimilated better than dairy products, explains Martina
Ferrer, dietician-nutritionist in the magazine corporal.
Vegetables that contribute vitamins important for our bones.
1.- Black sesame: these seeds are rich in antioxidants and calcium. You
can make Tahini and use it in countless sweet and salty preparations.
2.- Kombu Algae: It has abundant vitamins and minerals (see post algae
in woman and evolution), like most vegetables of the sea, and is ideal to
enrich soups and broths. You can also cook cereals and legumes with a slice of
kombu to make them more digestive.
3.- Almonds: Nuts contain high levels of calcium, especially almonds.
4.- Azuki beans: Traditional Chinese Medicine advises them along with
black soybeans to strengthen bones, for their proteins and antioxidants.
5 .- Col Kale: Cabbages in general are rich in calcium. The kale is
very versatile and can be steamed, in salads, marinade ...
6.- Naranaja: To take frequently foods rich in vitamin C, favors the
formation of collagen, necessary for the formation of bone.
7.- Nuts: They are a good source of Omega-3. These fatty acids
influence the activity of bone-forming cells, which can reduce the risk of
fracture.
8.- Dates: eating two dates daily provides minerals, proteins and
vitamins that favor the formation of bone tissue and the proper functioning of
the organism. They also satisfy the need for candy at any time.
9.- Whole grains: they are more nutritious than the refined variety. If
they are soaked 8 hours before consumption they will be more digestive.
10.- Spinach: They are rich in vitamin K2, a vitamin involved in the
formation of bone. In addition, green leaves generally contain a large amount
of calcium and minerals necessary for bone tissue.

notes on the foods we have quoted.
