LA FERVENZA DE AUGACAÍDA Y CASTRO DE MARCE (RIBEIRA SACRA)

Este es uno de los senderos más bonitos que he hecho

Este es el comienzo

aquí, hasta el momento. El sendero no es difícil, aunque hay tramos un tanto duros y es un poco rompepiernas, desde mi punto de vista como senderista con poco entreno. Su belleza es perfecta con su caída de agua, el bosque húmedo y todo lo que encontramos por el camino que lo iré desvelando a medida que describa la experiencia.

El cómo llegar no es difícil, desde Monforte de Lemos dirección Ourense (N-120) y a la altura de Segade tomar el desvío a Guitara y luego dirección Marce por la LU-4107 y a unos  500 metros antes de Marce, está señalizado el comienzo de la ruta que tendrá sobre  10 km más o menos.

El encontrar el punto de comienzo de la ruta no es del todo fácil. Hay que seguir las indicaciones que marca “Fervenza de Auga caída” y veréis que es una pista asfaltada que nos conduce hacia una bajada por carretera bastante pronunciada hasta ver la indicación que os adjunto en la foto. Este es el comienzo. Este es el comienzo.

Junto a un poste con paletas informativas se inicia el sendero, que en suave descenso (aquí ya caminando) poco después conecta con un camino que se abre paso entre un frondoso arbolado, donde predominan los robles y los helechos, que están cambiando del verde-amarillo al color marrón del otoño. Como punto orientativo, dejaréis a vuestra derecha un puesto-merendero.

Por la derecha se une otro sendero que viene desde el pueblo de Marce, a partir de este punto nos acompañan las marcas amarillas y blancas del PR. Este PR también llega a O Castro, situado en lo alto de un montículo con espectaculares vistas al río Miño. Debo decir que las señalizaciones están muy bien pero hay que fijarse en todo momento ya que algunas cuestan de identificar “yo os hablo desde mi experiencia que no es mucha”.

Escaleras de madera

Llegamos a los restos de una construcción de dos plantas abandonada, que fue un antiguo sequeiro de castañas, a la planta superior se accede por una escalera de madera o por sendero. Al otro lado de la edificación, por la derecha viene la variante de O Castro y por la izquierda, bajando unos peldaños de piedra sigue la ruta.

Antes en el suelo hemos visto una paleta de madera indicando la dirección a la Fervenza de Augacaída (Treito perigoso). El estrecho sendero continua descendiéndonos hasta que llegamos a un nuevo cruce con un poste y paletas informativas. Por la izquierda el PR sigue, y por la derecha indica la bajada a la Fervenza (Treito perigoso). Fijarse bien, pues la indicación esta caída y no se ve bien pero si se ven las escaleras. El descenso a la caída se hace por unas escaleras hasta situarnos enfrente de ellas.

Caida de agua

 Al lado, hay un cable o cuerda con el que se puede utilizar para bajar a pie de caída pero cuidado, es peligroso y debemos estar un tanto acostumbrados a ese tipo de bajadas y subidas. Una vez ubicados enfrente de la caída, es un lugar perfecto para meditar y pensar, envueltos por naturaleza abundante, el ruido del agua y los aromas que la naturaleza desprende. El espectáculo es grande.

Poco a poco vamos iniciando el regreso hasta llegar al sendero por donde llegamos a las escaleras. Continuamos por el  siguiendo siempre las indicaciones de las líneas blancas y amarillas, eso hará que veamos preciosas panorámicas naturales llenas de todo tipo de verdes, ocres y cambios de hoja. Al continuar por el camino hacia el Castro de Marce, que nos obligará a pasar una pasarela accediendo por unas escaleras de piedra autóctona.

El camino transcurre por la ladera de montaña, lo que hace que podamos tener unas panorámicas muy bonitas del rio, las laderas y la naturaleza en pleno esplendor. Claro ese día hacia un sol que nos mostraba con más intensidad esa belleza natural.

El Castro de Marce, antiguo asentamiento castreño situado en un lugar muy bonito, con fantásticas vistas del Miño y de los meandros que forma en esta zona.  Una vez llegados allí, habrá que deshacer el camino  hasta llegar al desvío donde podremos regresar al vehículo o bien por donde vinimos o bien por Marce a unos 450 metros cuesta arriba. Si elegimos esta ruta, podremos ver y caminar entre viñedos viendo lo fértil que es esta tierra llena de uvas, tomates y manzanos. Se elija lo que se elija veréis que no deja indiferente a nadie. This is one of the most beautiful trails I have done here, so far. The trail is not difficult, although there are some rough sections and is a bit rompepiernas, from my point of view as a hiker with little training. Its beauty is perfect with its water fall, the moist forest and everything that we find along the way that I will reveal it as you describe the experience.

Next to a pole with information pallets, the path begins, which, in a gentle descent (here already walking), connects with a path that leads through a leafy woodland, where oaks and ferns predominate, which are changing from the green- yellow to autumn brown color. As a guide, you will leave to your right a post-merendero.

On the right is another path that comes from the town of Marce, from this point we are accompanied by the yellow and white marks of the PR. This PR also reaches O Castro, located on top of a mound with spectacular views of the Miño River. I must say that the signs are very good but must be noticed at all times since some cost to identify "I speak to you from my experience that is not much".

We arrived at the remains of an abandoned two-storey building, which was an old dry chestnut, to the top floor is accessed by a wooden staircase or by footpath. On the other side of the building, on the right comes the variant of O Castro and on the left, down a few stone steps follows the route.

Before on the ground we have seen a wooden pallet indicating the direction to the Fervenza de Augacaída (Treito Dangerous). The narrow path continues to descend until we reach a new junction with a pole and information pallets. On the left the PR continues, and on the right indicates the descent to the Fervenza (Treito Dangerous). Look good, as the indication is falling and does not look good but if you see the stairs. The descent to the fall is done by a few stairs to stand in front of them.

 Next, there is a rope or rope that can be used to go downhill but be careful, it is dangerous and we must be somewhat accustomed to that type of descents and climbs. Once located in front of the fall, it is a perfect place to meditate and think, surrounded by abundant nature, the noise of the water and the aromas that the nature gives off. The show is great.

Little by little we start the return until we reach the path where we reach the stairs. We continue by always following the indications of white and yellow lines, that will make us see beautiful natural panoramas full of all kinds of greens, ochres and leaf changes. Continue on the road to the Castro de Marce, which will force us to pass a catwalk accessing a staircase of native stone .

The road runs along the mountain slope, which means that we can have some beautiful views of the river, the slopes and nature in full splendor. Clear that day towards a sun that showed us with more intensity that natural beauty.

The Castro de Marce, an old castreño settlement located in a very beautiful place, with fantastic views of the Minho and the meanders that form in this area. Once there, we will have to undo the road until we reach the turnoff where we can return to the vehicle either by where we came or by Marce about 450 meters uphill. If we choose this route,
