LOS CANDADOS DEL AMOR

Hace un tiempo que el tema de los candados del amor salto

a escena y con ello, todos conocimos su significado y su ubicación. Para unos un despropósito ya que debido a su peso, tronzaba las barandillas de los puentes de Paris, para otros un signo de amor eterno hacia su pareja y un modo de sellar el amor en la ciudad de La luz, Paris. En cualquier caso no deja de ser curiosa la acción y mundialmente conocida.

Yo hace una semana y aprovechando el buen tiempo, decidí pasear por el paseo de Riazor. El día era estupendo y las vistas increíbles, las olas batiendo las rocas con fuerza, toda la bahía resplandecía y contemplándonos, se encontraba nuestra musa, nuestra eterna vigia, la Torre de Hércules.

Paseando y viendo todo el escenario, pensaba en todos los cambios que he hecho en mi vida y que después de varios años fuera de España he regresado a mi país para vivir en una ciudad magnifica con brillo, cultura y calidad, aunque no es la ciudad que me vio nacer y crecer.

A medida que iba avanzando hacia el obelisco Millenium iba avistando algo  curioso, por eso he explicado lo de los candados. Pero antes os explico que es el obelisco luminoso llamado Millenium que se eleva a 50 metros. El obelisco luminoso Millenium está compuesto por 178 cristales de roca tratada donde se cuenta la historia en imágenes de los principales acontecimientos y personajes de la ciudad. Por la noche es muy bonito verlo ya que se ilumina y su aspecto es bello. Es como un homenaje a nuestra Torre de Hércules, es un mensaje “no estás sola” frente al temporal.

Yo invito a todos los visitantes que vengan a Coruña a verlo. Merece la pena no solo por lo que és sino por el lugar de ubicación a pie de acantilado donde rompen las olas y desde donde se puede ver la Torre de Hércules ya que queda justo en el acantilado de enfrente.

Pero no quería hablar del obelisco como tal sino de lo que encontré e insto a todo el mundo que vaya a visitarlo y deje su huella como en Paris. Este obelisco se encuentra en el paseo marítimo dirección San Pedro y todo ese paseo esta recorrido por una serie de protecciones. Frente al obelisco hay unas vayas recias y fuertes donde ví que algunos coruñeses colgaron un candado en nombre de su amor en ese momento.

Coruña es una ciudad bonita, cómoda y llena de luz, cuando no llueve. Es hermoso pasear por todo el paseo marítimo ya que te ofrece unas vistas impresionantes de acantilados y mar. Este paseo tiene una longitud de unas 14 kilómetros que además enlaza con otros senderos bordeando el mar y creando un camino de ronda lleno de belleza agreste por la naturaleza que lo rodea.

El sendero da mucho de sí y permite poder pensar y oxigenarnos a medida que vamos avanzando. Respirar a salitre, notar como el viento nos oxigena y poder escuchar el silencio y el romper de las olas es un lujo difícil de encontrar dentro de una ciudad con acceso fácil.

Mi pasión es el mar y tengo el lujo de vivir en una ciudad donde el mar es el poder más importante. Ya sabéis, cuando paseéis por el paseo acordaros de mí, seguro que estoy muy cerca.

THE PADLOCK OF LOVE

Some time ago the theme of the locks of love jumped on the scene and with it, we all knew its meaning and its location. For some an absurd because, because of its weight, the railings of Paris bridges, for others a sign of eternal love for their partner and a way to seal love in the city of Light, Paris. In any case the action is still curious and world famous.

I did a week ago and taking advantage of the good weather, I decided to walk along the Riazor promenade. The day was great and the incredible views, the waves crashing the rocks with force, all the bay glowed and contemplating us, was our muse, our eternal watch, the Tower of Hercules.

Walking and watching the whole stage, I thought of all the changes I have made in my life and that after several years outside of Spain I have returned to my country to live in a magnificent city with brilliance, culture and quality, although it is not the city who saw me born and grow.

As I advanced towards the obelisk Millenium I was seeing something curious, so I explained the padlock. But before I explain it is the luminous obelisk called Millenium that rises to 50 meters. The luminous obelisk Millenium consists of 178 crystals of treated rock where the story is told in images of the main events and characters of the city. At night it is very nice to see it as it is illuminated and its appearance is beautiful. It is like a tribute to our Tower of Hercules, it is a message "you are not alone" in front of the storm.

I invite all visitors to come to Coruña to see it. It is worth not only for what you are but for the place of location on foot of cliff where the waves break and from where you can see the Tower of Hercules as it is right on the cliff opposite.

But I did not want to talk about the obelisk as such but about what I found and I urge everyone to visit it and leave their mark as in Paris. This obelisk is located on the seafront towards San Pedro and all that walk is covered by a series of protections. In front of the obelisk there are some strong and strong vias where I saw some Corunna hang a padlock in the name of their love at that moment.

Coruña is a beautiful city, comfortable and full of light, when it does not rain. It is beautiful to stroll around the promenade as it offers you breathtaking views of cliffs and sea. This walk has a length of about 14 kilometers that also links with other trails bordering the sea and creating a round road full of wild beauty by the nature that surrounds it.

The path gives much of itself and allows us to think and oxygenate us as we move forward. Breathing in saltpeter, noticing how the wind oxygenates us and being able to listen to the silence and the breaking of the waves is a difficult luxury to find within a city with easy access.

My passion is the sea and I have the luxury of living in a city where the sea is the most important power. You know, when you walk on the walk you remember me, I'm sure I'm very close.
